Welcome to Troop 548!

Troop 548 is a youth driven, adult mentored Scouting organization. Using the patrol method and community service, the boys develop leadership life skills. This is accomplished through a variety of fun outdoor and physical activities. We are goal oriented and strive to provide new experiences for our Scouting family.
Troop 548 is announcing our 6th annual Webelos University Weekend and Campout on September 20 & 21, 2014!  As we did last year, we are offering a Webelos II Track, a Webelos I Track and a Parent Program..  Webelos II Scouts will work on Boy Scout skills and the Pioneering Merit Badge..  Webelos I Scouts will work on the Readyman, Outdoorsman and Engineer Activity Pins.  Everyone can participate in presentations on 10 Essentials, Leave No Trace, a First Aid Demonstration, Boy Scout Gear and Uniforms and the Scouting Trail.  This is also a great opportunity for parents to learn about the differences in the program they'll see after their son crosses over to Boy Scouts.  Webelos weekend also includes dinner, overnight camping, campfire, Boy Scout Court of Honor, and a Pancake breakfast.
Pre-register using the following case sensitive link:  T548WebU Registration or contact Ryan Berry at dalmask@gmail.com .
We hope you can join us, see flyer below for more details.
In general, we meet on Tuesday evenings, from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM at the The Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1548, 2200 Pratt St., Longmont, CO. Once a month, our troop Patrol Leadership Committee and adult troop committee meet to plan troop activities instead of our regular meeting.  Check our calendar to see our schedule.
